3:10 p.m. DWI. Hwy. 10/CR 4. Officers were dispatched to check the area on Hwy. 15 for a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver failed field sobriety tests and blew a breath sample of .26. The driver was arrested and charged with third-degree DWI, open container and no valid Minnesota driver’s license. The person was transported to jail without incident.
6:16 p.m. Domestic. First Street N. Officers were dispatched for a report of a domestic disturbance that had occurred at a residence. It was determined a father and stepdaughter had gotten into an argument over living arrangements for the stepdaughter. Both parties involved were separated and did not need any assistance from police.
11:54 p.m. Suicidal. Officers were dispatched for a suicidal juvenile. It was determined the juvenile had been sending photos to friends over the phone and talking about cutting themselves. Officers located numerous superficial wounds to the juvenile’s arm. Officers transported the juvenile to the hospital for treatment and an evaluation.
10:19 p.m. Driving complaint. 800 block of 10th Avenue N. Officers were dispatched to the area for a driving complaint of a vehicle driving through the area at a high rate of speed. An officer located the vehicle in question and conducted a traffic stop. The driver admitted to the officer he/she did not have a valid license. The driver was issued a citation for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance in the vehicle.
8:36 a.m. Accident with injuries. Ninth Street N./Eighth Avenue N. Officers were dispatched for a report of a juvenile who had been hit by a vehicle. The juvenile suffered minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle told the officer the sun was in his/her eyes and he/she was driving slow as he/she drove through the crosswalk. The juvenile’s parents were advised of the incident and all parties received a copy of the police report.
2:43 p.m. Traffic stop. CR 120. While running stationary traffic in the area of CR 120, an officer located a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop and learned the driver had a revoked driver’s license. The officer also located a marijuana pipe on the floor near the driver. The driver was issued a citation for driving after revocation, no proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was told to park the vehicle and call someone to drive for he/she.
1:01 a.m. DWI. 32000 block of CR 1. While on patrol, an officer located a vehicle traveling in a manner that showed an intoxicated driver. The officer conducted a traffic stop and the driver failed field sobriety testing. The driver blew a breath sample of .18. The driver was arrested and charged with third-degree DWI. The driver was transported to jail without incident.
9:17 a.m. Domestic. 11th Avenue E. Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic disturbance. It was determined one party had punched another in the face and left the residence. Officers located the person who assaulted the other in a nearby city and he/she was placed under arrest. The person was charged with domestic assault and transported to jail without incident.
12:58 a.m. Intoxicated person. 1000 block of Second Street S. While on patrol, officers located an intoxicated person walking in the roadway. The person was stumbling and heavily intoxicated. The person said he/she had attended a local event and was trying to walk home to an address in a nearby city. The person gave a breath sample of .14. Officers transported the person to detox without incident.
12:38 p.m. 911 hang-up. 2100 block of Third Street N. Officers were dispatched to a residence for a 911 hang-up. Officers spoke with residents inside who said an argument had ensued and one person called 911 and then hung up. All persons involved advised nothing was physical and the argument was only verbal. Officers gave advice to all parties to prevent further arguments.
10:06 a.m. Traffic stop. 1000 block of Riverside Avenue N. While conducting traffic enforcement, an officer located a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer locked the vehicle in on radar at 45 mph in a 30-mph zone. The driver did not know the speed limit or their own speed. The driver was issued a citation for speeding and released.
7:53 p.m. Assist other agency. Highway 15/CR 120. Officers were dispatched to assist another local law enforcement agency with a fight that occurred and vehicles that left onto Hwy. 15. The vehicles were located and officers assisted as needed.
4:31 a.m. Stolen vehicle. Hi-Vue Drive. Officers were dispatched to the address for a report of a vehicle that had been stolen. The complainant said the vehicle was locked and no one should have keys for it. A stolen vehicle report was completed and the vehicle was entered into the National Crime Information Center as stolen. Investigation is on-going.
9:04 a.m. Traffic stop. 300 block of Riverside Ave. S. While on patrol, an officer located a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer locked the vehicle in on radar at 59 mph in a 30-mph zone. The driver told the officer he/she was late for a meeting and knew they were speeding. The driver was issued a citation for speeding and released.
