The St. Joseph City Council will hold a public hearing March 1 to update qualifications for serving on the city’s Economic and Development Authority.
City officials previously delayed an appointment to the EDA to review membership provisions. New provisions will include one that states board members must be residents, work in or operate a business within the city.
Changes to the EDA’s Enabling Resolution require a public hearing. The hearing will take place during the city council’s regular meeting slated for 7 p.m. at St. Joseph City Hall.
